Apple's Podcasts application for iPhone and iPad lets you stream and download all your favorite shows. You can subscribe, sync and customize it the way you like!
How to find and download podcasts on iPhone and iPad
Launch the Podcasts application from your Home screen.
Press a search method at the bottom of the screen.
Press Select to view promoted podcasts.
Tap Top graphics to view the top-rated podcasts.
Tap the search button to search for podcasts by name.
Tap the podcast once you find the one you want.
Tap the subscribe button.
Tap the download button next to the episode name if you want to download it.
Tap the episode you want to listen to without downloading.
You can simply use the standard playback controls, just as you would in Apple Music. To unsubscribe, simply tap the podcast and press the unsubscribe button.
How to share podcasts and episodes on iPhone and iPad
Hearing something you like that other people will like too? You can share podcasts on social media, via iMessage, and more! You can share the podcast itself or individual episodes.
Launch the Podcasts application from your home screen.
Tap the podcast or episode you want to share.
Tap the share button.
Tap the method you want to use to share the podcast or episode.
Share as you normally would.
Now all your friends can listen to the podcast you shared.
How to sync podcasts across devices on iPhone and iPad
You don't want to have to download the same podcast three times on three different devices. Synchronize them!
Launch the Settings application from your home screen.
Click Podcasts. You must scroll down to find it.
Press the button next to Sync Podcasts.
Now your podcasts will sync every time you log in using your Apple ID.

You can choose the frequency of your podcasts to update.
Launch the Settings application from your Home screen.
Click Podcasts.
Press Refresh.

How to disable Played Episodes Delete for Podcasts on iPhone and iPad
If you share an Apple ID with a family member or friend and upload your podcasts, you may not want to delete all episodes of shared podcasts. You know, just in case.
Launch the Settings application from your home screen.
Select Podcasts.
Press the button next to Delete Played Episodes to turn it off.
Now the episodes you have downloaded will stick until you manually delete them. So, if you are without the Internet and want to go back and listen again, you can.
How to turn off notifications for Podcasts on iPhone and iPad
If you're going to watch your new podcasts when you're good and ready, then notifications can get in the way. You can disable them.
Launch the Settings application from your home screen.
Select Podcasts.
Press the button next to Delete Played Episodes to turn it off.
Now the episodes you have downloaded will stick until you manually delete them. So, if you are without the Internet and want to go back and listen again, you can.
