The iTunes Store has more than 43 million songs, 50,000 movies, and thousands of TV series that you could all get for your iPhone or iPad.

CDs and Blu-ray discs still exist, but many of us want to get their content in digital form from the iTunes Store.

How to enable automatic downloads from the iTunes Store on iPhone and iPad

If you have multiple Apple devices, you can set it up so that when you download content from iTunes to another iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Windows PC running iTunes, it will automatically download to your other iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Launch the settings for the device(s) to which you want to download the content automatically.

Tap App and iTunes Store.

Toggle switches for music, apps, books, and updates.

You can also tap Cellular data switch to use your cellular network for these automatic downloads.

How to view and re-download old purchases in the iTunes Store on iPhone and iPad

iTunes keeps track of everything you’ve already purchased from the service. You can re-download them at any time. It’s a great way to save space on your iPhone or iPad, and always have access to everything you’ve already purchased. (You just need to have the connection and bandwidth to download them!)

Launch the iTunes Store from your home screen.

Tap the More button in the lower right corner of your screen.

Tap Buy.

Tap the tab at the top to see everything you’ve already purchased, even if you’ve already downloaded. Otherwise just tap this iPhone/iPad to see only what has been purchased but not downloaded.

Tap Music, Movies or TV Series, to see what you have purchased in each category.

Tap the title of a song, movie, or show that you want to download again.

Tap the Download iCloud button at the top to start re-downloading.

If you’re ever unsure whether you bought something or not, don’t worry. iTunes won’t charge you for it again, as long as you use the same Apple ID.
